Tania Bojonac
Tania graduated from the University of Sydney in 1993. She later completed her Masters degree in Excercise and Sport Sciences, then a Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy. She has provided pysiotherapy coverage for various city sporting events and was a physiotherapist for a number of sporting events at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Tania has worked as a teacher and lecturer in Anatomy at the Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE. She has provided physiotherapy treatment services for the University of Newcastle Rowing teams and Parramatta Frist Grade Rugby League players. Tania has a special interest in applying her sports experience not only to sporting injuries, but also to motor accident and work related injuries for injury prevention and rehabilitation using an evidence based research approach.
She has current experience in post operative orthopaedic surgical treatment, working with the excellent team at Macquarie University Hospital and Physiotherapy Clinic. Tania has a keen interest in PRE-HAB (preparing patients for rehabilitation post orthopaedic surgery), Physical Rehabilitation, Ergonomics, Workplace and Workstation assessments, Occuaptional Rehabilitation, Injury Prevention at Work, Return to Work Rehabilitation using a cognitive behavioural, evidence based approach to rehabilitation. She also conducts visual screening, drug and alcohol screening, audiometric testing and pre-employment assessments for employers and employees to ensure safety compliance at the workplace.
